SENCI Diesel Generators Support Emergency Power Project in Saudi Arabia

 Recently, SENCI's first batch of large diesel generator sets successfully completed on-site operational testing in Saudi Arabia and was deployed to a local power station construction project. The generators now provide reliable emergency power for the project, supporting infrastructure development in the region.

Project Challenge

 Saudi Arabia's desert environment presents demanding operating conditions for power equipment, including high temperatures, sand and dust, high humidity, and salt-laden air. Generator sets operating in these conditions must deliver stable performance while maintaining durability and reliability over extended periods.

 In this project, SENCI's large diesel generator sets serve as emergency backup power for the construction camp, supplying electricity to residential areas, offices, warehouses, and supporting facilities with continuous 24-hour operation.

SENCI Solution

 The project is equipped with SENCI 400DCE diesel generator sets, delivering 463 kW prime power and 511 kW standby power. Powered by Cummins engines and Stamford alternators, the units provide fast load response and stable performance under changing power demands.

 To meet the environmental requirements of the project, the generator sets were configured with enhanced corrosion protection, an optimized cooling system, and an automatic paralleling system, supporting long-term operation in high-temperature, dusty, and coastal conditions.

 The generators also feature an integrated cloud monitoring platform with ATS automatic transfer, remote monitoring, remote start and stop, fault notifications, and multiple protection functions, helping reduce on-site maintenance requirements while improving operational efficiency.
